Khomeini: "We want to improve not only your material life but also your spiritual life. You need spirituality. They have taken away our spirituality. Do not be happy that we are going to build homes for you; that we are going to give you free water and electricity; that we are going to provide free public transport- do not cheer for this. We are going to develop the spiritual and the religious in you. We will make human beings out of you."
